This Data Retention Policy explains where your digital journal entries are stored, what information we hold if you provide your email address, and how long we retain that information.
The 7-Stage Graduate E-Journal stores your journal entries locally in your web browser, on your device. Your entries are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not have access to your journal entries at any time.
Because your journal entries are stored only in your browser, they are completely private to you. We do not read, access, collect, or share your reflections — we have no technical ability to do so.
If you provide your email address on any stage page, you will receive a welcome message and may receive occasional reminder emails encouraging you to export your journal entries as a personal backup. These reminders are a courtesy and are not tied to any storage period or expiry, since there is no server-side storage to expire.
Reminder emails are sent from e-journaljourneys@realpeoplerealjourneys.store.
You can export your journal entries at any time, free of charge:
We strongly recommend exporting your entries regularly to keep a personal backup, since entries exist only in your browser.
If you clear your browser's data, switch to a different browser, or switch devices without exporting, your journal entries will be permanently lost. Because entries are never stored on our servers, we cannot recover lost entries under any circumstances.
If you provided your email address and no longer wish to receive messages from us, you can unsubscribe at any time:
Unsubscribing only affects future emails. It has no effect on your journal entries, which remain in your browser and are entirely separate from your email subscription.
In the event of a significant change to our business name, domain, hosting provider, or the digital journal itself, we will provide at least 90 days written notice via email to anyone who has provided their email address. During this notice period you are encouraged to export your complete journal entries, since any change to the journal's domain or hosting may affect access to your previously saved entries in your browser.
If you provide your email address, it is stored with the following third party providers for the purposes described:
Email: e-journaljourneys@realpeoplerealjourneys.store
Subject for unsubscribing: Unsubscribe me
